Step 2-White German Shepherd

Step 2-White German Shepherd
Well folks, this is the last update as I shut the lights and lay down my pastels for today. Before heading to bed, I managed to add the nose and eye and even started adding the facial fur. In the next step, I will finish the mouth and muzzle before I most likely move on to the ears and top of the head.

  4. Looking great Colette. Could I please ask what Pastels you use?
I would love to try pastels. been thinking about it for some time now. I had some samples sent to me from Pan Pastels... I am not sure about them at all... and only having a yellow and a red to experiment with.

Look forward to updates on this gorgeous German Shepherd.

  5. Thanks for your wonderful comments ladies!!
Dors, I am using Pitt's pastel pencils and various other brands (mainly for color selection) and the background with softer Rembrandt's round sticks. I have on blue sample of the Pan's pastel but have never used it yet...it is applied differently than pencils or sticks because it is in powedered form.
