The beginings of a waterfowl painting are taking shape on this suedeboard. I am using mainly pastel pencils to draw the detail of this strange looking bird. Watch for more updates to come soon!

I'm really looking forward to see how this Hooded Merganser turns out. I saw one way up here in Alaska a few weeks ago. I'm always afraid to post a work in progress because I'm afraid it will turn out lame. From what I can tell, that never happens with you.
