Painting of roseate spoonbills preening
I'm slowly progressing with this pastel bird painting...the feathers are taking me forever it seems. The bottom spoonbill is almost completed and I really hope that the rest of the painting will be a breeze! Still have a log , rock and water with reflections to do, not to mention the rest of the bird's feet and legs.

This is going to be a real masterpiece Colette. I love it so much and enjoy seeing it progress.
ReplyDeleteStunning.
Dors, thanks for following this and other long list of posts. Wish I could have less updates and more completes!
ReplyDeleteLooking great Colette - the finish line is in sight. Isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThnx Peter! Yes, I actually was able to accomplish much more on the foreground tonight...needed a break from all those pink feathers!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, Colette. Love the greens and rose-tones together. (I am struggling with the same thing right now; work on feathers that I think is going to extend into eternity!)
ReplyDeleteLynda, thanks for dropping by and for your kind comment. I will hopefully have this one finished by next week!
